Die Rendezvous mit (...) (2026)

Performance in two variations: loop (approx. 45 min duration) or as score-based interventions

In Die Rendezvous mit (...) I worked with minor choreographic shifts within existing movement flows in the U-Bahn station, as well as fleeting sculptural images that emerge from the positioning of performers. I was interested in how subtle moments of encounter and proximity can become visible in this specific public space, shaped by speed, efficiency and anonymity, yet constantly producing direct bodily relations between strangers.

In the work I explore how distant, subtle synchrony and proximity can shift attention through choreographic interventions, forming relations that become readable only across time and space. As always in my work, the potential of touch is constantly present, yet what I am particularly interested in is creating images that emerge from an in-between of proximity.

The work was  shown as part of Invisible City, a performance exhibition curated by Alexandra Pirici including works by former and current students of Klasse Pirici. Invisible City was framed by Public Art München, supported by Kulturreferat München. The project was also kindly supported by Akademieverein München.
